Butley Priory Cottage is an 18th century holiday cottage, located right beside Butley Priory in Suffolk.
A charming and secluded flint cottage, once used as a stable for Butley Priory and later as a summerhouse, set in the Priory Gardens. Sleeping 4 + 2, it consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan kitchen/dining room with a double sofa bed in the sitting room.
There is free parking close to the cottage. The nearest rail station is in Melton, which is approximately 5 miles away.
One of the prettiest holiday cottages in Suffolk, Butley Priory Cottage is bright and airy, charmingly decorated with a good-sized well equipped kitchen. There’s a small garden with pretty outside table and chairs outside the kitchen for al fresco eating.
The cottage (next to Butley Priory) is perfect for families, couples, writers, escapists, looking for a peaceful break in the rural Suffolk countryside. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too. It’s a magical spot for nature and wildlife lovers, surrounded by woods and farmland, and the sea with coastal walks is just a mile or so away.
