1. Welcome Supper
Host a relaxed welcome supper for your guests to kick start the celebrations. We recommend the Farmhouse for this, an amazing social house perfect for informal gatherings

2. Ceremony
Seat up to 100 guests inside the Great Hall or if the weather is fine, host your ceremony outside in the South Garden

3. Drinks Reception
In fine weather, lead your guests to the South garden for drinks, canapes and garden games or enjoy the cosy Drawing room with comfy seating and open log fire

4. Wedding Breakfast
For the wedding breakfast in the Great Hall, you can seat up to 80 guests on long tables or up to 60 guests on round tables

5. Photo opportunities
Butley Priory is blessed with some of natures finest backdrops for wedding photos, from tall pines, weeping willows and beautiful bracken

6. Cocktail hour
Introduce a cocktail hour after the wedding breakfast to rev up your guests for the evening reception

7. Evening Reception
Dance the night away under the vaulted ceilings of the Great Hall. Live bands and DJ’s are welcome, with carriages for midnight

8. Fluffy pillows and comfy beds
Arrive the day before and depart the day after your wedding, allowing for a two night stay for a truly relaxed wedding celebration

Gather together for a recovery brunch before bidding farewell to your guests
