Butley Priory is the home of a musical family. Frances Shelley (pianist / improvisor / composer) and her daughters Bess and Jayna Cavendish (singers / musicians/ dancers) have lived and made music here for over 20 years!
In consequence, the family use the house from time to time for putting on musical events. Mostly these involve performances from their many talented friends . . and sometimes themselves. The intriguing, unusual, captivating and slightly out of the box are the kinds of acts that Frances chooses!
