May we inform you that after 22nd December this year we will no longer be offering accommodation on a B and B basis; instead, you can now take the whole house! Come and stay with your family or friends, and take all 5 bedrooms, having the exclusive use of magical Butley Priory and its grounds either for a 3 day weekend let or for a whole week. We can sleep 10 people. Lets can be on a self catering basis, or you can book our first class caterers who will be happy to come and help to whatever extent you choose. Despite the antiquity, 21st century comfort is assured in the bedrooms, which have linen sheets, log fires, and goose down duvets. A sitting area, morning tea tray, tv and hi fi system are provided in all main bedrooms.
The Yellow Bedroom
Large double bedroom with South facing gothic window overlooking south garden. Deep window seat, working log fire and tall en suite shower room lit by a crystal chandelier.
Moroccan Room
This is our smaller double room - bedroom and bathroom are all in one, separated by a curtain. There is a huge antique bath on legs. Moorish décor, tall peaceful white room overlooking East garden, very unusual!
The Mary Rose Room
A sumptuous large room with antique faded pink wallpaper.
Very romantic, with two Georgian windows facing East and South over the
Gardens. 7ft King Size bed, working log fire and en suite bathroom with
shower.
The West Wing Bedroom
Very spacious room with King sized bed and large South facing Georgian window which overlooks the garden with a working log fire, private bathroom which is lit by a crystal chandelier and is down a short flight of stairs within same wing.
Monks Cell
This is a tiny single bedroom with shared bathroom facilities with the West Wing
